Effective date: October 30, 2026
Tactical Legacy Media Group ("we", "us") runs tacticallegacy.media and the Tactical Legacy 76 channel. This policy explains what personal information the website handles, why, and who helps us handle it. It does not cover YouTube, social networks or other sites we link to. Their own privacy policies apply there.
What we collect
- Inquiry form. Topic, name, company (optional), email address and message. We store the submission in our database and email a copy to our team so we can reply.
- The Briefing (newsletter). Your email address, the sign-up source (the website), and the times you confirmed or unsubscribed. We email you a confirmation link before adding you to the list (double opt-in).
- Spam and abuse checks. Forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks each submission and the IP address it came from. Cloudflare may set its own cookies for this check. We also keep a short-lived record of the IP address, stored as a hash, to limit how often a form can be submitted.
- Hosting and security. The site runs on Cloudflare. To deliver pages and keep the service secure, Cloudflare processes standard connection data such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested.
We do not run analytics or advertising trackers, we do not set cookies of our own, and we do not take payments on this site. Store orders are placed by email (see the Terms of Service).
How we use it
- To answer inquiries about partnerships, press, store orders and other messages.
- To send The Briefing emails you signed up for, plus the confirmation and unsubscribe messages that go with them.
- To prevent spam and abuse, and to keep the site running.
- To meet legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.
Who helps us handle it
- Cloudflare hosts the site and its content delivery network, runs the server code, stores form submissions and subscriber records in its D1 database, sends our notification and confirmation emails through Email Sending, and runs the Turnstile check. Cloudflare may process data in data centers around the world, so your information may be processed outside your country.
- YouTube (Google) supplies the episode list. Our server requests it from YouTube's data services, so no information about you is sent for that. Episode thumbnails load in your browser from YouTube's image servers, so YouTube receives your IP address and browser details when a page shows them. Videos play from YouTube's privacy-enhanced domain (youtube-nocookie.com) only after you press play. YouTube's privacy policy governs what YouTube does with that data.
We do not share your information with anyone else for their own marketing. We may disclose it if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
- Confirmation and unsubscribe links are random tokens. We store only their hashes. Confirmation links expire after 72 hours.
- Short-lived spam-check records are deleted after 10 minutes.
- Inquiries and subscriber records are kept while we need them to reply to you and run The Briefing. We delete them when they are no longer needed or when you ask us to.
- When you unsubscribe, we keep your address on a record marked as unsubscribed, so that we do not email you again by mistake.
Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe. Every Briefing email has an unsubscribe link. It opens a page where you confirm the change, and it takes effect straight away.
- Access, correction or deletion. Email the team (partners [at] tacticallegacy.media) from the address you used, with "Privacy request" in the subject. We may ask you to confirm it is you.
- Other rights. Depending on where you live, privacy law (for example the GDPR or US state privacy laws) may give you more rights, including the right to object or to complain to a regulator. We will honor them as the law requires.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
Pages are served over HTTPS. Forms are protected by Turnstile and rate limits. No internet service is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee the security of information you send us.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The effective date at the top shows the latest version. If we make a material change, we will say so on this page.
